When makeup highlights texture instead of hiding it, start with smoother skin.
Foundation catches on peach fuzz, powder makes your skin look dry, and your complexion feels rough even after moisturizing. Sometimes, what stands between you and a fresh, polished look is a buildup of dead skin cells and fine facial hair. Our Dermaplaning Facial gently removes both, revealing softer skin and a brighter complexion. With peach fuzz out of the way, makeup applies more evenly and looks more natural. Finished with a soothing mask and hydration, this treatment leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and looking refreshed—even without makeup.
Who This Treatment Is For
Dermaplaning is ideal if you notice peach fuzz, dullness, or rough surface texture, or want a smoother base for makeup. It is especially appealing before photographs, a special occasion, or whenever your skin needs a fresh start. It is not recommended over active inflamed acne, open lesions, or irritated skin.
How the Treatment Works
Using a sterile blade and controlled, gentle strokes, we remove fine facial hair and dead skin cells from the surface. This exfoliation reveals a smoother, brighter-looking complexion without changing the hair follicle. Peach fuzz will not grow back thicker or darker after dermaplaning.
Your Treatment Experience
Your 60-minute facial begins with a skin assessment and thorough cleansing. We carefully work across suitable areas of the face, then apply a soothing mask and hydrating products selected for your skin. The treatment feels like light, gentle strokes across the skin.
After Your Treatment
Typically, no downtime is needed, so you can return to your day after your facial. Your skin may feel temporarily sensitive or show mild pinkness. Keep it moisturized, wear daily SPF, and avoid scrubs, retinol, and exfoliating acids until we advise you to resume them. Allow at least 24 hours before applying makeup, and longer if your skin still feels sensitive.
Your Results
You can feel the difference immediately: softer skin, less surface roughness, and a fresh, luminous finish. Once your skin has settled, makeup glides on more evenly without catching on fine facial hair. The effect is temporary as skin cells build up and peach fuzz naturally returns; regular appointments can help maintain that smooth, polished feel.
Before Your Appointment
Avoid facial waxing, at-home dermaplaning, and strong exfoliation before your visit. Let us know about prescription skincare, recent peels or laser treatments, and any current irritation. If you are preparing for an important event, book a few days ahead to allow any temporary sensitivity to settle.
