Diode laser treatment for visible facial capillaries and cherry angiomas, tailored to your individual concerns.
Visible capillaries can appear as fine red lines around the nose, cheeks, and other areas of the face. Cherry angiomas are small, benign vascular growths that appear as red spots on the skin. Capillary treatment is offered for the face only. Cherry angiomas can be treated on the face and body, following an individual assessment.
How the Treatment Works
The diode laser delivers targeted energy to the selected blood vessels, producing controlled heating that helps reduce their visibility. The treatment approach is selected according to the size, location, and characteristics of the vessels or angiomas being treated.
Who This Treatment Is For
For those looking to reduce the appearance of visible facial capillaries or remove confirmed cherry angiomas for cosmetic reasons.
Your Treatment Experience
Your appointment begins with an assessment of the areas you would like to address and a discussion of the recommended treatment plan.
You’ll wear protective eyewear while your practitioner treats the selected vessels or angiomas individually. You may feel brief warmth or a stinging sensation as the laser energy is delivered. Sensations vary with the location and size of the treated area.
After Your Treatment
The appearance of the treated area may change temporarily as the skin heals. Recovery depends on the vessels or angiomas being treated and the settings used. Your practitioner will explain the expected response and provide personalized aftercare instructions.
Protect the treated skin from direct sun exposure and follow the recommended skincare and SPF guidance. If any crusting develops, allow it to heal naturally without picking or rubbing.
Your Results
Improvement is assessed as the treated area heals. Some concerns may require more than one appointment. The recommended number of treatments and their spacing will be discussed during your consultation.
Before Your Appointment
Please let us know about recent tanning, pregnancy, medications, active irritation or infection in the treatment area, and any history of unusual scarring or delayed healing.
Any spot that is changing, bleeding without an obvious cause, or has not been identified should be medically assessed before cosmetic treatment.
